CN: Hear Hear! This attitude has not really gone away
either - witness the Walker Library situation, among
others. It's completely shameful that we continue to
tear things down willy-nilly in the city. Who
benefits? Only a certain handful of developers, from
what I can see.
Furthermore, once we are left with vacant lots all
over the place, (like on the 2800 block of Park, where
I live) CPED makes it extremely difficult for
individuals to buy them and thus they sit, full of
trash and k-mart shopping carts for all eternity.
Absolutely tragic.
I have suggested before and will suggest again - some
daring journalist should investigate just what the
[blank] is going on over there at CPED. Something is
not right.
