Interested persons are welcomed to attend a community meeting about the soil pollution cleanup at the Chemical Marketing state superfund site. An MPCA staff person will be giving an update on this cleanup project, and will also give an update on the cleanup at the Warden Oil site. The buildings were demolished this summer and the removal of polluted soil will begin soon. The Chemart property is located on the north bank of Bassett Creek on the east side of Humboldt Ave N. The Warden Oil state superfund site is on Humboldt Ave N. about one block north of the creek. For more information call the Harrison Neighborhood Association at 612-374-4849.
