The first of the South Lyndale Development Workshops meetings is tomorrow - Tuesday, October 5th. This is a series of workshops to talk about development along South Lyndale Ave - Minnehaha Creek to the Crosstown. It is sponsored by the Center for Neighborhoods through their Corridor Housing Initiative.

There are four neighborhoods that intersect at the corner of 54th and Lyndale. For the past three years or so they have worked cooperatively on S. Lyndale issues. A sub committee of the 4 neighborhoods called LASR-CC (Lyndale Avenue South Renewal - Creek to Crosstown) was formed and has been instrumental in steering discussions about the corridor.

If you live in one of the four neighborhoods, please plan on attending. (You can tape the VP debate!)
