Yes, we do. Because it is in the contract we signed with them.
And we're not paying them this money "to retire", it's a pension paid for their past years of work.
The retirement package for the police is not only for the police..I have been told it also includes secretaries and office workers! Do we own them five years of insurance (12,000.00 per year?) along with $15,000.00 to retire? . . .
