People are thrilled with their new toy, which along Hiawatha is just that,
and needing  to acclimate with rail as a new venture...it will take awhile
to get where we really need to be with modern transit. I can not see rail
going down Lake, Hennepin or University (if following existing tracks which
they do not wish to do) I do see PRT since it would not stop traffic and
would not interfere with the existing streets. Rail really should be going
down 35W..I don't understand why there is not rail instead of Rapid Bus.
Someone said it was due to land available along 35...Another bus lane and
shoulder is about what rail would need. If we had had rail for some time, I
believe people would be more open to moving onto newer transit.
