I question why anyone would endorse or vote for a former incumbent who apparently did not have the sticktoitiveness to re-up when she was still in office (Miller). I get the picture of a dilettante who plays at public office, not a committed individual.
Also, from all the discussion around schools, I get a clear picture that there is a big disconnect between board members, teachers, parents, and students. The superintendent speaks to the board, and they to her. Teachers, parents, and students float in a powerless sea between the two. It makes no sense to me.
BTW: I think Strib editorials are done by committee, which might explain a lot.
