>From Marian Biehn - Whittier Alliance Development Manager: Thought you all ought to know that there is a send-off party for Sami Rasouli, former WA board member and owner of Sinbads Bakery and Deli, Saturday Oct 23 from 6-9PM at St. Joan of Arc Church hospitality hall 4537 3rd Ave.S. It is being given by Sami large circle of friends.
The invitation asks that you bring a snack to share. Over the past month Sami has been very helpful in the WA office. He has done data base, researched information, cleaned and has kept us well fed. Let's show him our support. End of message; ME: Sami is one of those people you meet in life that you know are really special from the day you meet them. There is something about them that radiates to everyone they touch. I will truly miss Sami in Whittier and hope that we stay connected with him through the e-world. It's an honor to know him and call him friend. I wish him the best in Iraq. Barb Lickness Whittier ===== "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
