I'm not even sure the issue is worth debating. Has Gerold even approached the City asking for more compensation for her attorney? I don't think she has. If this is true, why not just let the fundraiser continue as planned and move-on?

She's a very intelligent woman and she knew going-in what the hourly cap was for attorney's fees. By my estimation, the City (you and I) have already conceded to pay nearly twice what the "cap" for the hourly rate was for her legal representation.
