Ward 8-7 (Jeez, I thought I was still in the 10th Ward): I arrived about 8AM at Martin Luther King Park to see quite a long line - looked like folks waiting for a ride at Disneyworld. It took about 30 minutes to get thru and vote - I was on my way to work by 8:30. I saw what appeared to be one person sitting next to the voter registration table with a badge saying "Challenger," I think, but no one was registering at that time so I didn't observe any actual challenging. MoveOn.org had a table set up outside on Nicollet & was giving away bagels. As I don't like bagels much I didn't stop. Now if they'd had some healthy glazed donuts or chocolate croissants...
