Ron,

We use City County Federal Credit Union (http://www.ccfcu.org/). They have a branch on Chicago near 47th in addition to branch offices (http://www.ccfcu.org/locations.asp) scattered around Hennepin County. Plus, Kat, my wife, has had good luck making deposits and transacting simple business at Shared Branch locations (http://208.253.248.231/) in West St Paul. We have found CCFCU to be fairly convenient for household banking. However, they are week with regards to business checking as they do not handle tax deposits well. Kat has had to use a bank for her business, but, otherwise, we are satisfied with CCFCU.

Do you have any credit union recommendations for Dakota county? Kat and I have just moved out of Minneapolis to South St Paul. Unfortunately, there are no CCFCU branches in Dakota County and we don't want to drive to Hennepin County everytime we need to do to something more complex than making a deposit.
