Asking concerned citizens to shush so that the process can move toward a
foregone conclusion is
wrong. This is not a political debate- it's a philosophical and/or ethical
debate. The points in
question are fair dealing, professionalism and transparency in government.

There is a false sense of urgency in this process. I refuse to settle for a
candidate pool of
two, with one of the candidates flagged "with reservations". Keep the process
going.

List - question for you. Please repy to me off list with "A" or "B" in the
subject line of your
email. Your response will be kept confidential and I will simply tally the
results.

As a stakeholder in the Minneapolis park system, would you rather:
A) Continue the superintendent search process until the search firm has a final
candidate pool of
3 (original guidelines) that they have full confidence in.
B) Continue the interview process with the two existing candidates, with the
intention of
selecting either John Gurban or Cristofer Gears.
