>From Craig Cox/The Minneapolis Observer: ZERBY WILL NOT SEEK RE-ELECTION Citing family pressures, Council Member Paul Zerby (Ward 2) said today that he will not seek re-election.
Me: In an age of cynicism, political hacks, and all such truck that can lead you to believe nothing is real and all is a facade, CM Zerby was real. He was (and still is) an extraordinary leader on the issue of preventing childhood lead poisoning in the city and is a true advocate for children's health and well-being. I am disappointed that he is not running again, but wish he and his family well--and look forward to the remaining months he has with the council. Gregory Luce St. Paul REMINDERS: 1.
