Speaking of that, does anyone have the 2000 mayoral primary vote counts and
percentages and could they communicate them to me?

It would be interesting to see just how close those numbers were.
Ryback got 34%, Sayles Belton got 27%, difference of 7%. Various other candidates totaled 61%.
