We tried to collect enough funds to buy the van from
Lake Country School to give to the woman with the 7
children. We were not able to collect enough to buy
the van but.....the father of one of the Lake Country
School parents heard about our grassroots effort to
help this woman and he donated his used Buick Park
Avenue. We used the funds we collected toward the van
to help her pay for insurance on the car and this
morning we delivered to the car to her. Needless to
say she was very touched by all the generosity that
has come her way.

Employees from Logic Product Development, Johnson
Companies and Martin Bastian heard about this effort
and they too organized collections for her in their
offices. We delivered another car and van load of
food, clothes, presents, toys, books, giftcards etc.
to her last weekend.

I would like to help her find more suitable housing.
That will take some work.

Again, thanks to all the list members that helped this
woman with clothes, toys, furniture etc.

Have a Happy Holidays everyone.
