I wonder if anyone on this list can help us...
My wife and I have just upgraded our home computer, and we are looking for a good home for the old one. It's not fast compared to today's standards, but it works just fine. We're hoping that some Minneapolis school or non-profit could put it to use. It's a PowerMac 8600/300, and it already has a USB card installed so it can use modern peripheral devices in addition to SCSI and other PCI expansions. It also has a MicroTek flatbed scanner. If anyone knows of any Minneapolis organization that could use such a machine, please let me know. I would much rather see it put to good use than end up at the recycling center. Also, if anyone knows where I could find a list of organizations that take such donations in Minneapolis, that would be helpful in the future.
