David Rust states: "Where these laws have been passed in other cities,
there is always a drop-off in bar traffic at first but it does re-bound."

Vicky asks: Is the City willing to fund any financial losses until business
rebounds? And how long will that take?

I hope several lawsuits are filed against the City on the basis of an
illegal "taking." This is a private property rights issue, and if the
government prevents the use of one's property, the owner is entitled to
"just compensation." See Article V, U. S. Constitution. There is also a
good "equal protection" argument to be made in Court.

Most small business people cannot afford the loss in revenue, or the legal
fees, so I expect most of them to go out of business, or move to a location
where people actually understand America's founding principles.
