David Shove: I like to eat really fresh meat, so I raise chickens in my
apartment. (free-apartment chickens). Then when I get hungry, I look over
the flock and pick one out to be my dinner. Whether it's chickens, pigs,
goats, or anything else -- do not give up your RIGHT TO SLAUGHTER, at least
on private property. The neighbors I have left put up a stink about this,
but it's none of their business.

Vicky Heller: If you can find a landlord that's willing to let you do it,
more power to you. In this example, the property owner takes the financial
risk. Actually, I've read that you might find a few tolerant neighbors who
slaughter cats and dogs for dinner; one of those cultural things you know.
