Sometimes it becomes hard to keep a straight face when
people raise the bloody flag of revolution over.....
a leaf blowing machine? Yea, truly, a labor-saving
device! I'm sure that Sam Adams and Patrick Henry
would be beaming. Maybe we are losing our right to
free speech left and right in the name of fighting a
non-existent domestic menace called Islamic fundament-
alism, but at least we have our leaf blowers!
My only problem with the notion of banning them is:
With the continued reduction of law-enforcement
person-
nel, how's this "law" going to have an force at all?
I think people need to remember that when they start
talking about using "law" to remedy an annoyance, the
city is busy cutting the FTE's necessary to enforce
laws against murder and robbery. How many more
meaningless laws are we gonna add to the books that
the uniforms won't be able to respond to?
