List moderator David Brauer was instrumental in bringing this change through during the 2001 election. Now, the proof is in the putting. In previous years it was the delegates elected during the presidential election that determined who was endorsed for City Council and Mayor. That is no longer the case. Thanks to the high voter turn-out there will have record numbers of delegate seats available in each ward. Not sure of the total number of delegate seats available city wide. I know Fred is the numbers genius and can probably provide us with the total number of delegate seats available citywide and by ward. If you have a strong passion for one candidate over another and consider yourself a democrat, you may consider becoming a delegate in your ward precinct and recruiting people to come with you.
