His sentence is going to be handed down in 30 days and I doubt very much that it will be 30 days. However, those who wish to make an impact statement to the Judge to help determine what that sentence will be--well, they have a 30 day sentence to do it!

SAFE3.1 Serving the 3rd Precinct, SAFE District 1 --------------------------------------------- Basim Sabri will be sentenced in approximately 30 days for his conviction of bribery (3 counts) and one count of attempting to bribe former City Council member Brian Herron.
Wow. I'm dumbfounded. 30 days for 4 felony counts? They were felonies, weren't they?
One can get 30 days for simply breaking the speed limit, if a prosecutor and judge decide they want to throw the book at you for a misdemeanor speeding charge. Unlikely, but possible.
What kind of message does that send to Minneapolis citizens? To Minneapolis youth?
