What an honor!

And it's nice that money spend for a celebration in DC will make it back
into the economy in Mpls!

Chuck Yes a FEW of our finest Officers or LT's were selected to go and
provide security for the President.
It is my understanding that this is all being funded by the Fed's not us
locally.

Subject: [Mpls] Mpls Police and the Emperor's Bash

Several days ago, I entered the room at the end of a radio story and
thought I heard that a number of police departments around the country,
including that of Minneapolis, were sending contingents to DC to help
keep the Bush reinstallation festivities safe from the unpleasant sight
and sound of the democracy dead-enders, I mean safe from terrorist
attacks. Can anyone -- including any Mpls or MPD representatives --
confirm or deny this? It would be astonishing to find that our radical
leftist municipal leaders had authorized the dispatch of MPD members to
the imperial march-and-orgy, and even more astonishing if we Mpls
residents were to bear any of the cost thereof.
