I, too, remain very irritated by the mayor's literture and the "coincidental" nature of it all. I will be doubly irritated if he ignores it waiting for the storm to blow over, and never addresses it, especially if he takes an approach of "the people's business is more important."
He owes Minneapolis $42,000. RT, if you're reading this, write out the check, and earn some public trust points. The last 4 years haven't been perfect -- I hope we can concentrate on our huge and soon to be bigger property tax bills. > > To be frank, I haven't been too impressed with Commissioner McLaughlin's campaign. His work at the County has been steller but his mayoral focus on Eduation, Crime, Neighhborhoods, and Economic Vitality sound too much like poll-tested buzzwords. Let's face it PL could run for mayor in any big city in the country with that platform. Also, like a previous poster mentioned, if you want to do something about Mpls schools, run for school board. > > I'm still P.O.'d about RT's newsletter sent on the City's dime. It was obviously a campaign piece and should have been treated as such. Since RT's campaign as so flush with cash, he should re-imburse the City for it. Until he does so I will not be contributing any of my own $$$ to his campaign as I feel I already have done so by paying for the newsletter with my tax dollars. > > Dean E.
