RE: reference to difficulties with STrib online... the intrusive junk

I unsubscribed from the online STrib over a year ago just because of all the
overly intrusive junk mail-related issues associated with registered
membership. I get my hard-copy every day and the hassle of online
registration just wasn't worth it to me.

Michael, could you explain what you are talking about? Maybe it's obvious
to everyone else, but I am confused. My wife registered us for the Strib a
few years ago so that we can look at stories on-line. I have experienced
absolutely no down-side to this. Is that what you mean by a subscription?
Or is there some other registration method where the Strib sends you stuff
without you having to look for it? What kind of intrusive junk are you
getting?

Thanks
