It's hard to keep track of all the anti-business crap coming out of City Hall. Let's see....
Destroy the bars, Destroy the retailers, Destroy the private apartment owners, Spawn millions of square feet of vacant office space, Regulate everything that moves out of existence, Build and buy overpriced monuments that generate NO income, Give away millions of dollars to political insiders, Give away millions of dollars to corporate welfare seekers, Tax, tax, tax, small businesses until they are bankrupt, Tax, tax, tax, individuals who can't escape (or ride the LRT to Bloomington)
Minneapolis - the City where everything is banned or mandated, until it can be taxed or regulated to death.

We must be doing something right with our taxes and regulation. This must be a decent place to start a business or that wouldn't be true. http://www.startribune.com/stories/535/5238602.html
Given the contrarian and caustic nature of your post, the relentless negativity and the constant invective, and the sweeping nature of your position, I find it difficult to accept your criticism as being reasonable. I don't think you are being fair. Your post is not persuasive.
Besides, you are wrong. If you were on target, we wouldn't be the number one technology city in the USA, but we are #1, so you must be wrong. High tax, anti-business Minneapolis is #1.
