<>Minneapolis has a long tradition of citizen participation.  Over the past
year there has been much discussion about the role of citizen participation.
Neighborhood organizations need to be fully involved in these discussions.
This conference will give people active in neighborhood groups the
opportunity to be part of the debate and talk with each other about how they
do citizen participation, the future of citizen participation, and how
neighborhood groups and the city work together.
