Last night we has all the candidates for mayor and Ward 2 Council in for
a PPERRIA-sponsored forum. I'd estimate that about 300 people
attended. Before the forum, we did what we could to publicize the event
in the Prospect Park East River Road neighborhood. It was clear that
many people from many other neighborhoods also attended. I attribute
that solely to the announcement of the event here on the Mpls. Issues
forum. So, the moral is that the Mpls. Issues forum remains an
important vehicle to get the word out about important events about to
happen in and affecting the city of Minneapolis.
