Thank you to Doron Clark for the clarification about Dan Miller, Eric
Oines for your opinion about Cam Gordon, Robin Garwood for your opinion
about Cam Gordon, Steve Cross for his opinion on Bill Svrgula, and Barb
Lickness for her post about conflict of interest. And let me offer my mea
culpa for not disclosing that I am a supporter of Cara.

However, I do stand by my opinions. I do believe that Dan Miller needs a
couple years of experience before he is ready for prime time. I believe
that Cam Gordon, while without question is an ethical person, would likely
be ineffective on city council. And Bill Svrugla, while he has an
impressive personal story, doesn't appear to me to quite understand what
the city council job is about and I would like to see the real Bill not
the performing Bill that I saw at the forum on Tuesday.

For these reasons and many more I do support Cara Letofsky as a candidate
for Ward 2 city council. But NEVER get me wrong, I will support and work
to get elected which ever candidate receives the DFL nomination for Ward
2. (I should disclose that I am a Democrat and a member of the DFL lest I
be critiqued for not disclosing that.)

As an asside, one of the things I love most about the Minneapolis Issues
List is the ability to openly debate things of importance to Minneapolis.
And again mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa.

Randall Cutting
Seward
Ward 2
Democrat
Suporter of Cara Letofsky
Environmentalist
