This information is quite frequently not up-to-date, especially on nusisance rental properties. Your best bet is to call the county records office between 9am and 4:30pm. Give them the abstract description of the property - sub-division name, lot number and block number. ask for the current property owner name, address, and if available, contact phone number.

Be aware however, that the safest route is to bring the property to the attention of the local authorities instead of handling it yourself. The best way is to involve several neighbors to call consistently on the property when you experience a problem to build a demonstratable case for action. After which time, your SAFE officer should be able to assist you in the avenues available to rememdy the situation.

I have run into numerous houses (one yesterday in fact that sold 3-months ago) that the website was several months behind in reporting the updated data on.
