did in his post, rather than a misunderstanding as a result of an internet miscommunication is uncalled for. Such subtle, and not-so-subtle attacks serve as merely a diversionary tactic to keep voters' attention off the things that really matter like the issues. This is what the Tifft campaign is all about. Issues that effect people's lives in the Eight Ward. Issues that Dennis Tifft wanted to have the opportunity to share and discuss on Mr. McFarland's show. There is another part of Mr. Lehman's post that does however raise a viable issue. What was the purpose of Ms. Dawolo sharing emails with Mr. Lehman? Not being a resident of the Eight Ward, perhaps Mr. Lehman can share his insight into what draws his attention to the race. Is Mr. Lehman associated with a candidate running against Dennis Tifft in Ward Eight? If so, it would be nice for him to disclose this to the list in respect of full disclosure. Dennis Tifft would like to discuss the issues -- openly and honestly with all the citizens of the Eighth Ward. This is why the forum hosted by KFAI was vitally important. Perhaps another solution in the future would be for people to actually call candidates or campaigns if they have not heard back from emails they have sent. As we all know, email is only one form of communication. That's why Dennis communicates not only by email, but my mail, phone and in person and will continue to do so after he is elected.
