Does it bother anyone else that the public hearings for the transit fare

Minneapolis and St. Paul? With many of the transit dependent living in

needs to be heard. If there are going to be public hearings, they should
be accessible at times that make sense, meaning that daytime and evening
hearings are a must. While comments can be made through other sources,
it does not justify poorly planned hearings.
I had the same thought when I first went to the schedule.
As it happens, I met with Frank Hornstein yesterday about just the right
bill to solve this problem: HF0558 and SF0420 - elected Met Council.
Does anyone think it's a coincidence that the Council appointed
by the governor is not pushing for increased public transportation
funding when there is a clear crisis? Do you think an elected
Council would be more likely to support bills such as HF 1735 and
SF 1703 to fully fund our public transportation needs?
