Rep. Ellison has shown good leadership on these environmental issues. I think
Rep. Karen Clark is co-authoring this bill? At least, strongly supporting it.
I encourage everyone to advocate for a hearing on the bill. Here is an
opportunity to support an organization that is generating activism on these
important issues in the currently anti-environment house. Karen Clark is a
cofounder
of this organization, and I want to extend an invitation to all:

2nd annual live & silent auction fundraising event
for the Women's Environmental Institute
Thursday, April 28th, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
upstairs at the Rainbow Chinese Restaurant
at 2739 Nicollet Av. S. in Minneapolis.
Our theme is "Recycle, Regift & Redeploy."
People are creating handmade items,
regifting personal objects, donating their time,
and decluttering their homes of family heirlooms
for an amusing and out of the ordinary auction.
Come for a great cause and a fun evening!
Tickets are $20.
