Jeremy also expressed respect for DeLaSalle and what they do as well (I think Diane does too). I think that is important. When I step back and look at this, it is a tragedy. I think that shows that the process we have is badly broken. We need to fix it. The way this process has been manhandled hasn't helped anyone, it is a hornets nest of issues now. The neighborhood is up in arms and is rightly fearful based on past experience. And DeLaSalle wants their school to stay healthy and vibrant but doesn't have a clear path forward. This shows the lack of leadership and vision in our planning and development process that we couldn't bring the two together, it simply isn't trusted by neighborhoods, it isn't effective for organizations. Why can't we get this right?
