You are absolutely right. We should have adequate recreation facilities in all regions of the City. Two problems remain:
1) Money is finite and 2) Due to limits of size and landscape, many of our parks simply cannot (and should not) accommodate quality fields/complexes. It seems that we could, perhaps, have a combination of natural parkland and quality recreational fields at alternating locales. Everyone would not be pleased but your stated goal would be met without unduly misusing land ill suited for the purpose. The important thing is to act with reasonable speed to create/improve these facilities. The children of the City are not growing up in the long term. Martin Demgen REMINDERS: 1. Be civil!
