Interesting post by David Strand. I always thought that there's an inequity for single employees. Singles get less in compensation because those who are married get spousal benefits and singles do not.

I wonder if these benefits would be a way that Minneapolis could legally offer these benefits - since when they tried to offer DP benefits, they were overturned in court.

Where is the Minnesota Family Council on that "Activist Judge" ruling?
