I have to say I'm a little bit confused by this.

According to the smoking ban opponents, once the ban took effect in
Minneapolis, all the smokers were either going to a) go someplace where they
could smoke or b) stay home.

If so, why would this be a concern in Minneapolis since there shouldn't be
any smokers around our bars who would go out for a smoke and potentially
leave their drinks unattended?

If it is indeed something we should be concerned about in Minneapolis, then
does that mean the earlier arguments from the ban opponents were just
pathetic scare tactics?

Or is this now the pathetic scare tactic being tried by the ban opponents
since the earlier arguments against the ban haven't been very effective?
