As a child, I used to take great pleasure in blowing nasal nuggets on the floor. It was the one good thing about having a cold. My parents would hit the roof, and my sisters would go "Oh ish - mom, he's doing it again!" It was great!
So now I want to engage in public in a little - just a little mind you, for old times sake - precision snot shot. Sort of like darts, only using thickened post-nasal drippings. And you know what? It's banned! Something so simple, so natural, so rooted in our early childhood natures, penalized because some we-know-what's-best-for-you "public health official" says it speads disease! I say, Prove it! Or because most people find it sickeningly gross. I say, I'm not most people! I can only imagine what they'll ban next. There's things, and other things, we guys used to do on camping trips. I won't go into what they were, but as far as I can tell, every one of them has been banned from public places in Minneapolis. Thankfully, there are still places in StPaul and Lilydale near the gasworks where a man can be a man in all his manity. Those glorious exceptions aside, I fear for the future of the republic and Western Civilization. --David E Shove Livid in Roseville "Let's not do it" is really a corruption of the far older and much more basic, "Let snot do it." I rest my case. On Mon, 11 Apr 2005, Michael Thompson wrote: > Of course it's gonna happen, Dan. It's a "good idea" don't you know? And if > it's a "good idea" then it must be a law, and be banned.
