Folks: While I appreciate Mr. Carlson's posting of my story here, he does note an error and I wish to clarify: The factual error is my fault, not Steve Minn's, and he did indeed cite Carol Johnson's tenure in our interview. That was inadvertently cut in a revision--the mistake is not Mr. Minn's. Apologies to him, and to Ms. Johnson. A correction will run in next Wednesday's City Pages.

Here's the link: http://www.citypages.com/databank/26/1271/article13165.asp One key statement is that both Lisa McDonald and Betsey Hodges think it will take 100K to run the race and both think they can raise that amount! Surely that's gotta be a record for Ward race. One minor quibble -- Steve Minn is quoted as saying that the area hasn't been represented by a Democrat in 25 years. However DFLer Carol Johnson representated that area from 1987-1991, although she was so ineffective I guess Minn could be considered technically correct. Dean E.
