I received a response from my commissioner, thanks to all for the feedback. The issue forum comes through...

In my experience, all commissioners are responsive, especially if you
specifically ask for a reply. Try contacting them again, maybe follow up with a phone
call. They received thousands of calls and e-mails regarding the ball park
issue, and it is just not feasible nor even possible probably to reply to
everyone on a timely basis. Don't give up as citizen participation with the
multitude of issues at the county board is much encouraged and appreciated. Another
idea: try calling their aides, Kerry Ruch (Dorfman) or Brian Shekleton (McL).

As for Commissioner McLaughlin ignoring someone once the person told him he
would actively work to unseat him if he went forward with a taxpayer funded
stadium, I don't know what the alternative would be, although perhaps the
commissioner is not actively ignoring but just pursuing other activities.
