How about getting Amtrak back to the heart of the

That's exactly the plan with the proposed Multi-Modal Station (yet
to be named, but I prefer "North Loop Station"). It will sit
right next to the ballpark. That's why I see the ballpark as a
means to push public transportation development.
Check the Minneapolis planning documents I mentioned last week.
