It seems that the entertainment tax that applies to
all other forms of entertainment in downtwon
Minneapolis and the convention center tax on food and
beverages as well as any local sales tax to fund
police and other public safety functions of the city
that might be approved MUST apply to baseball
admission tickets.

We can't allow this to pass as the new ballpark if it
brings additional visitors to the city who are mostly
going to spend money on tickets and in the ballpark we
need to make sure it is taxed at the same rate as
other forms of entertainment in the downtown zone.
