I have been working hard to keep all of our libraries open, restore Local Government Aid, expand library services, and increase hours. We need to open up the doors of the library - so everyone has access.

My background includes being a life long library user, an active DFL member, a former board member on the Standish-Ericsson Neighborhood Association, a proud 10 year member of CWA Local 7270, a past advisor to a college library, former block club leader, and over 15 years of education and training experience. I currently serve on the Minneapolis Planning Commission, Treasurer/Secretary of the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA), and President of the Minneapolis Library Board.
