We've had a post or two recently that have violated our rules against civil discourse and personal attack. I want to a) let everyone know I'm dealing with it and b) remind people to review the rules at http://www.e-democracy.org/rules.

The pertinent sections in the recent violations are:

4. Be Civil - No insults, name calling or inflamed speech. Personal one-on-one arguments, disagreements or personality conflicts are not appropriate on the public discussion forum. The Forum Manager shall provide guidance to participants on what is appropriate and what is not allowed. Attempts at humor or sarcasm should be labeled ... ;-), :-), etc.

5. No Attacks or Threats - Personal attacks or public threats against the safety or security of participants are not allowed.

Violations of the rules can lead to warnings and expulsions. I don't want to do either, so best to policy yourself.

REMINDERS:
1. Be civil! Please read the NEW RULES at http://www.e-democracy.org/rules. If
you think a member is in violation, contact the list manager at [EMAIL
PROTECTED] before continuing it on the list.

2. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait.
