Falling parts just add to the adventure of living near the airport. Will a
part hit me or my family? Or, the other hand, will it hit my boss? Bets
could be taken.

Recovered parts could be dated/placed (provenanced) and put in an After
The Fall museum. They could be assessed on public TV's antiques show
("Really? $2000! Wow!").

If the prices per plummeting part skyrocketed, more could be dropped,
on order. Special orders could be put in for glitzy chrome parts, right
wings, cockpits, landing wheels.

When airplane parts became too prosaic ("O, not _another_ airplane
part!"), other items could be dropped - accordians, grand pianos,
oversized plastic cows - and tastefully arranged in the new "Dropped Art"
collectibles.

The first house to be hit by TWO parts in a week (Sun-Sat) could be given
a public celebration - a "Party of the Second Part". WWII-style stars
could be displayed in the windows of (still-standing) hit homes, one for
each member disabled (silver) or killed (gold).

Some people see the air as half empty. I see it as half full.
