Dean tries, but falls short of giving convincing argument for the is new tax 
for the stadium.  That was the point Gary was making in his post and with his 
questions.  If its true there are so many fans that want this then lets have 
the state required vote.  Lets cut the crap about trying to skirt the law on 
the grounds of cost and have the darned vote.  Costs going up is merely a smoke 
screen to shield the Twins from the probability the referendum would fail.  
Carl tried to move them and failed, tried to contract them and failed.  Enough 
with the games, bring on the vote.  The Twins have a place to play, and the 
fans have a place to watch them play.  If it passes I will grin and bear it, if 
it fails then the Twins can still build the stadium, but will need to find 
alternative funding other than Hennepin county.
