Minneapolis Public Library (MPL) is once again a partner in the Minneapolis
MOSAIC festival of arts and cultures. This year we are hosting MOSAIC kickoff
events at both Franklin and Sumner.

Tonight (June 2nd) at Franklin Community Library (1314 East Franklin Av) will
be host to a Southwest High School Instrument Ensemble, our public art muralist
Robert DesJarlait, Glennie Blacksmith, Bobby Wilson, and other talent beginning
at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, June 3rd Sumner Community Library (611 Van White Memorial Blvd) will
present Spoken Word Artist Debra Stone, North High's Alcetis, and a hosted talk
with artists beginning at 6:15 p.m.

MOSAIC guides including a map of kickoff locations are available at all MPL
locations. Several of MPL's summer events for children and families are listed
in the calendar on the MOSAIC website.
