The myth, repeated by people I thought had more sense, is that "gays" are taking over Central neighborhood and want to push out all the AfAm families. Thanks a toad ton, Eva. I live here and you stand a chance of making life more difficult for GLBT people in Central with your screeds.

EY: This is nonsense. How does opposing Urban Ventures and their projects - including the Colin Powell Center equate to wanting to push out all the African American families?

What's nonsense? The myth? It's out there. You think only white people read this list? You don't think the AfAms can see that someone named Eva Young, a GLBT person, is trying to stir up trouble for UV and CPC? You think people won't use your screed to promote CPC?

Well, you're wrong. There is such a myth; AfAms read this list, others do as well and they will use your screed to promote homophobia and CPC..

This is tiresome. Where did I say African Americans don't read the Minneapolis Issues list?

You think people won't use your screed to promote CPC?

What people? Art Erickson? I've always felt he likes to exploit wedges between the gay and african american community - in exactly the way Norm Coleman did, when he recruited anti-gay black democrat Bob Battle to the Republican party.

I don't see African Americans as a monolithic group that all think the same way. In the same way gays don't all think the same way.

I'm getting tired of the insinuations that I'm racist from you Wizard. I'd like to ask you to prove it or apologise.

This "who is more oppressed" game is getting really tiresome.

How does opposing the Colin Powell Center project equate to wanting all African American families to move out of the Central Neighborhood, Wizard? I'm not the only person you've called racist on this list. You've done the same thing with Karen Forbes, David Piehl, Jana Metge and many others.
