You may agree that Chicago's CeaseFire could be a model for Minneapolis violence prevention efforts, if we develop the vision and leadership necessary to adapt it to our circumstances.
The last time the MPD "adapted" a program from another city it was the Broken Windows program from NYC? or Boston? Can't remember which. However, the heart of the program was cut out by MPD, making it much less effective than it could have been.
