What I'd really like to see, is group of Mayors of former large manufacturing centers like Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, etc. make a plea for sanity in trade and economic policy at the national level. Hey Mike, Just thought I would let you know that there is a group of Mayors that are part of the New Progressive Cities Project, spearheaded by the Mayor of Madison, Wisconsin. Last weekend, at the United States Mayors conference in Chicago, the group of progressive mayors met, and I attended one of their workshops about energy, efficiency and jobs. Unfortunately, R.T. Rybak was not there (neither was Peter). Going back to lurkingFarheen Hakeem, Mayoral Candidate endorsed by The Green Party's Cult of Localism P.S. Dont worry Mike, I know it's not personal; Besides, Ive been called worse. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
