I agree with Mark's points. Also, I think comparing
Peebles to Bolton isn't warranted.
I've never met Dr Peebles, so only know what I've read
in the papers. I really hope for the school
district's sake, this situation can be salvaged. The
last thing the district needs is another
superintendent search.
This does speak to avoiding contracts which give big
payouts for getting fired.
People from the east coast often have trouble in
leadership positions around here. Remember Ken Keller
at the University of Minnesota?
