Telling Lies and Telling Secrets: Two Minnesota Authors Dish the Dirt on
Writing GLBT Mysteries.
As part of this year's Gay Pride festival in Minneapolis, local mystery
authors R.D. Zimmerman and Ellen Hart will talk about their writing
experiences and what it was like to "come out."
Walker Community Library 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June
15, 2005
2880 Hennepin Ave
Ellen Hart was named one of the 101 movers and shakers in the gay
entertainment industry by Entertainment Weekly, and her novel An Intimate
Ghost (nominated for the 2005 Lambda Literary Award) is currently being
turned into a screenplay by an independent film producer/screenwriter in
Hollywood.
R.D. Zimmerman has written ten novels and six childrens books and has
created six bestselling mystery jigsaw puzzles. His latest book, The Kitchen
Boy, published under the name Robert Alexander, is a gripping and entirely
believable description of the last days of the Romanovs.
The program is free and open to the public; book sale and signing to follow.
This month is Pride Month across the US and in many countries around the
